Carolina Atienza Aragon, Yolanda Torres Claros, and Carlos Bravo Perez, Law students from the University of Málaga, delivered a presentation today at IBCM on the research entitled “Legal Pathways for Kosovo’s EU Accession: Academic, Post-Conflict and Youth Perspectives.”
Held at the Riverview Campus, the session brought together IBCM students interested in EU integration, law, and public governance to engage in an academic discussion on Kosovo’s European future and its legal and institutional dimensions.
The research conducted by the students was part of their course on Public International Law, offering an in-depth examination of Kosovo’s EU accession process from legal, post-conflict, and youth perspectives. The presenters highlighted that, despite political and historical complexities, structured legal pathways and continued dialogue make progress possible and sustainable.
Their message to IBCM students:
It is possible to come to terms; countries can find legal pathways toward cooperation and integration.
The session fostered meaningful academic exchange and further strengthened IBCM’s commitment to international collaboration, knowledge sharing, and European dialogue.
