The Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM) is proud to announce another significant achievement in the 2026 Erasmus+ Call for Proposals, securing two Erasmus+ projects and nine KA171 International Credit Mobility projects.
These results further strengthen IBCM’s international profile and its commitment to innovation, academic development, international cooperation, and high-quality education.
IBCM will serve as the Coordinator and Grant Holder of KOSMIC, an Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project led by Prof. Asst. Agron Hajdari
KOSMIC aims to establish Kosovo’s first national ecosystem for stackable ICT micro-credentials by bringing together higher education institutions, vocational education and training providers, employers, and the Ministry of Education.
The project will support the development of a national framework aligned with the EU Council Recommendation on Micro-Credentials, the European Qualifications Framework, and the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance.
It will also introduce a national digital credentialing platform designed to promote lifelong learning, employability, and digital transformation.
IBCM will also participate as a project partner in DigiRule, led at IBCM by Prof. Dr. Ekrem Gjokaj
The project will contribute to the development of advanced education in digital public governance and the rule of law, responding to the growing need for professionals equipped to address the legal, institutional, and governance challenges of digital transformation.
In addition to these two projects, IBCM has been awarded nine (9) Erasmus+ KA171 International Credit Mobility projects.
These projects will create new opportunities for students and staff to participate in international mobility, academic exchange, professional development, and cooperation with partner universities worldwide.
This achievement reflects IBCM’s continued dedication to internationalisation, educational innovation, research excellence, and the development of programmes that respond to the needs of society and the labour market.
IBCM congratulates all colleagues, partners, and contributors whose dedication made these achievements possible.
