
On 8 April 2026, the Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM), Kosovo, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of International and Security Studies (IISS), University of Wrocław, Poland. The agreement was signed between Prof. Dr. Mihone Kerolli Mustafa, Rector of IBCM, and Prof. Krzysztof Kociubiński, Director of IISS.
This MoU strengthens international academic cooperation and supports the development of teaching, research, and academic exchange between both institutions.
The agreement sets the framework for collaboration in:
Joint academic activities such as lectures, seminars, workshops, and conferences
Development of research and teaching projects
Cooperation in scientific publications
International mobility opportunities for students and staff
Exchange of information on ongoing research initiatives
This MoU supports IBCM’s continued commitment to internationalization and academic excellence, creating new opportunities for students and staff to engage in global academic networks and research collaboration.
The agreement is concluded for an indefinite period and does not include financial obligations for either party.
The Institute of International and Security Studies (IISS), part of the University of Wrocław in Wrocław, operates within the Faculty of Social Sciences and focuses on international relations and security studies.
The Institute delivers interdisciplinary teaching and research across key areas such as global studies, European integration, and international security, and is actively engaged in international academic networks, including Erasmus+ partnerships across Europe. It offers English-taught programmes preparing students for careers in diplomacy, public policy, and international organizations.
