Public International Business College Mitrovica is proud to announce the participation of Rector Prof. Dr. Mihone Kerolli-Mustafa at the European Universities Rectors & Presidents High-Level Meeting, one of the most significant gatherings of higher education leaders in Europe.
Representing the Q-Helix European University Alliance, Prof. Kerolli-Mustafa joined university leaders, policymakers, European Commission representatives, and stakeholders from across the continent to discuss the future development of the European Universities Initiative and its contribution to Europe's competitiveness, sustainability, innovation, and social progress.
Together with Prof. Katarzyna Szczepanska of Akademia WSB – WSB University, Prof. Kerolli-Mustafa contributed to discussions focusing on the European Degree, talent development, research excellence, innovation ecosystems, student mobility, and the long-term impact of European University Alliances on the transformation of higher education.
The high-level meeting brought together representatives from all European University Alliances, Members of the European Parliament, national and regional authorities, and key higher education organizations. Participants reflected on the achievements of the European Universities Initiative, discussed remaining challenges, and explored pathways to ensure its long-term success.
Particular attention was given to the role of university alliances in developing future-oriented skills, strengthening research and innovation capacity, supporting regional development, and advancing the implementation of a European Degree framework. Discussions also highlighted how universities can contribute to Europe's sustainable prosperity, competitiveness, democratic values, and social inclusion.
Prof. Kerolli-Mustafa emphasized the importance of international collaboration and strategic partnerships in preparing students and institutions for the challenges of an increasingly interconnected world.
