IBCM is pleased to announce an upcoming guest lecture on Sustainable Development, featuring environmental protection scientist and activist Egzona Shala.
With more than 15 years of experience in ecology, sustainability, and community engagement, Ms. Shala has made significant contributions to environmental protection and advocacy. She currently serves as Executive Director of EcoZ, where she leads initiatives focused on climate resilience, just transition, and environmental awareness. Her work involves close collaboration with governmental institutions, civil society organizations, and local communities, aiming to promote sustainable practices and long-term environmental solutions.
In addition to her work at the national level, Ms. Shala has gained valuable international experience through her engagement with the European Environment Agency and the European Institute of Public Administration. Through these roles, she has actively contributed to policy discussions and environmental reforms, consistently working toward the development of resilient and sustainable communities.
This guest lecture will provide students with valuable insights into contemporary environmental challenges, as well as practical approaches to sustainability and policy development in both local and international contexts.
