Afete Musliu
Prof Ass
Afete Musliu was born on April 4, 1972, in Mitrovica, Kosovo. She completed her secondary education and pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Material Sciences and a Master’s degree in Environmental Protection Engineering at the University of Prishtina, Faculty of Mining and Metallurgy in Mitrovica.
From 2011 to 2015, she undertook PhD studies at the Agricultural University of Tirana in Albania, earning the title of Doctor of Environmental Sciences.
To date, she has published 36 scientific papers in various international and national journals, including 20 as the first author and 16 as a co-author. Since 2015, she has been working as a professor in higher education, initially at the Higher Education Institution “Globus,” and later at UBT in Prishtina. She was awarded the academic title of Assistant Professor in 2015 and promoted to Associate Professor in 2021. Over the years, she has supervised numerous undergraduate and graduate theses and participated in several higher education projects.
Since 2023, she has been part of the academic staff at the Public College IBC-Mitrovica, serving as an Assistant Professor in the Environmental and Agricultural Management program.
