If you are interested in relocating to another country for work or further studies, you may be required to have your diploma validated by NARIC (National Agency Recognition Information Centre).
The NARIC network aims at improving academic recognition of diplomas and periods of study in the Member States of the European Union (EU) countries, the European Economic Area (EEA) countries and Turkey.
NARIC will provide you with a list of all the necessary information and documents that you will need to submit for the verification process.
After you have submitted the documentation, you will receive an apostille stamp on your IBCM diploma and supplements. This confirms that you have completed studies at an accredited and licensed study programme and institution.
This is normally enough to verify your qualification. However, the procedures for diploma recognition vary by country. The NARIC offices in the host countries may also contact IBCM for further authentication.
It is important to note that in the majority of countries, higher education institutions are autonomous, making their own decisions on the admission of foreign students and the recognition of credit and qualifications from abroad. As a result, most NARIC offices do not make a decision on admission, but offer information and advice on foreign education systems and qualifications when requested.
