International Business College Mitrovica (IBC-M), under the U.S. Embassy Pristina English Language Teaching and Learning Small Grants Program is implementing a project titled IBC-M ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAMME THROUGH UPSCALING FOR UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES AND WORKING PROFESSIONALS

Under this project, IBC-M will establish a programme that will teach English and will provide knowledge upscaling courses for unemployed youth and working professionals.

The project will be delivered through a two-phase approach:
Phase I – Building a base of English language ability, this will last for 3-4 months
Phase II – Knowledge upscale through courses in business, public administration and environmental and
agricultural sectors – this will last for 3-4 months.

Target groups: unemployed youth and working professionals from Mitrovica North and South.
Delivery timeline: November 2018 – July 2019, courses delivered during after-study/ after-work hours and
weekends.

International Business College Mitrovica (IBC-M) is announcing the following: Call for Expressions of Interest

International Business College Mitrovica (IBC-M), is seeking interested candidates to participate in the project:
English Language Programme through upscaling for unemployed graduates and working professionals. Through this project IBC-M will provide English Language Courses to selected participants within:
Level I: A1 (basic), A2 (elementary) – at least 15 participants
Level II: B1 (pre-intermediate), B2 (intermediate) – at least 15 participants,
Level III: C1 (upper-intermediate), C2 (advanced) – at least 10 participants.

Further candidates will proceed to phase II, based on the requirements, where groups will be created to attend the following IBC-M courses:
Group I: Marketing and Management Courses – at least 15 participants,
Group II: Public Administration Courses – at least 15 participants,
Group III: Environment and Agriculture Courses – at least 10 participants.

Potential candidate criteria:

  • Age: 18 and over
  • Strong motivation to master English language and pursue further education in the three fields mentioned above.

Participants will receive Certificates of the Training participation.
