IBCM welcomes back three International Sales and Marketing Students from their study exchange in Denmark.

IBCM srudent on exchange to EAL

Rita Vidishiqi, Elvira Muja and Bojan Andjelic have returned from their semester-long international study exchange in Denmark with Lillebaelt Academy.

Study exchanges such as these, which are made possible through Erasmus + mobility funding, are a key part of IBCM’s international offering. They enable IBCM students, who are selected for exchange based on criteria including grade average and attendance, to spend an entire semester studying in an international university.

For students who qualify for exchange, the experience adds a valuable asset to their CV’s: an Erasmus study found that 65% of employers in Europe appreciate international study experience. Elvira Muja explained the benefits of the international exchange: “Studying abroad allows you to enhance your life experience and education outside comfort zone. It helps you overcome obstacles which you have never faced before. Studying abroad also helps you think outside the box and it also helps in creating networks which I believe is really important nowadays”.

Rita Vidishiqi agreed: “This experience will help me a lot in the future for many reasons. While being abroad you see new things and learn more about the culture, this can help you to be be innovative and creative in the workplace”.

For participating students, international study exchanges also offer motivation for the future. Bojan Andjelic said that his time in Denmark has inspired him: “My goal is to be a productive member of society by working and contributing in a global company here in my region. The perfect recipe for achieving this goal is the combination of knowledge and skills acquired from IBCM, my international exchange experience, and hard work”.

IBCM continues to seek opportunities to expand the opportunities for student exchange, and have recently signed an agreement with ISCAP – Porto. This will enable IBCM students to spend a semester studying abroad in Portugal.
