IBCM in ERASMUS+ Partnership: Developing Innovation Agents for SMEs (DIGAS)

The International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM), through SPARK, is part of a successful  partnership application to the ERASMUS+ KA2 – Cooperation and Innovation for Good Practices project fund. In cooperation with partners at Tietgen Business College in Denmark and five European partners in higher education, IBCM will be part of the two-year project entitled, Developing Innovation Agents for SMEs (DIGAS).

The purpose of the DIGAS project is primarily to address the skills mismatches and gaps between graduates who are seeking employment and employers, particularly small-medium sized enterprises (SMEs), with open vacancies and skills needs. Key activities will include:

  • The development of a training programme for the unemployed based on international best practices but relevant to local labour market needs of each partner country
  • The growth of an international network via a virtual platform that will connect employers with job seekers.

The project runs from September 2014 through August 2016.  Project activities will be regularly updated on a dedicated website, www.digas-project.info.
